ELECTROCHEMICAL SILVERING PROCESS

The electrochemical silver plating process is a process by which, by applying a potential difference, an object is covered with a thin layer of metallic silver.

To deposit silver, the surface of the object must be prepared through a cleaning process.

The main advantages obtained with the silver plating process are: improved electrical conductivity, increased corrosion resistance, increased reflectivity and weldability.
